Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions state the obligations, responsibilities and rights of all parties involved with this Agreement. The present terms and conditions may be amended, changed or altered without prior notice being given.

1.    Introduction
Please ensure that the following details outlined in these Terms and conditions are both accurate and complete before committing yourself to the contract.

2.    Bookings and Confirmation
2.1    When booking you must provide us with an accurate description of the property. The Red Carpet reserves the right to amend any given price quote or charge for any extraneous work that is found to be necessary upon arrival at the property.
2.2    Providing us with incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to the cancellation of your order. Additional charges may be incurred for this.
2.3    Access to the property must be available.
(a)    If we are unable to access your property, you will be subjected to a charge of £50.00 minimum.
2.4    You must provide credit card details or debit card details to secure your booking.
(a)    A 2% charge will be added when paying with a credit card.
2.5    Once your service has been confirmed, a time slot will be reserved for the selected task. It is important to note that this will be an estimated time. Extenuating factors, such as traffic, bad weather or other such events are not within the control of the company.
2.6    You are responsible for parking arrangements. Any parking fees or fines incurred by your cleaner whilst performing your cleaning service are to be paid, in full, by the customer.

3.    Payments and Pricing:
3.1    Services provided by the company are payable in cash or by card over the telephone before your service. Cheques will not be accepted under any circumstance.
3.2    Prices are based on the minimum charge of the service to be provided.
3.3    Additional charges can include congestion charges of £11.50. You may also be subjected to an additional charge if your property is located outside of the M25 postcode area.

4.    Re-scheduling and Appointment Cancellation:
4.1    Cancelling an appointment less than 24 hours prior to the given service time will incur a fee of £50.00 without further notice.
4.2    The Red Carpet reserve the right to charge £25.00 for any appointment that is rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice given.

5.    Services:
5.1    Adequate lighting and warm water must be available at your property for our cleaners. The Red Carpet reserves the right to cancel appointments If the wellbeing or health of our employees is threatened or called into question.
5.2    The Red Carpet reserves the right to sub-contract any or all available services.
5.3    You or a representative must be present at the end of the service to confirm that work has been completed to your satisfaction. If you or a representative are not present, the services will be treated as having been accepted by you.

6.    Liability:
6.1    The Red Carpet will not be held liable in cases of:
(a)    Discolouration or wear of fabric becoming noticeable after cleaning.
(b)    Existing damage, spillage or stains that cannot be fully cleaned or removed.
(c)    Damage to wooden floors where adequate protection has not been fixed to furniture legs.
(d)    Incomplete services due to third party entering the property.
(e)    Curtain shrinkage during curtain steam cleaning.

The Red Carpet strive to deal with any issues, complaints or problems with any performed service. Complaints must be filed no later than seven working days from the date of the service provided. Complaints made any later than this date will not be investigated.
